About This Piece
A beautiful French sterling silver box with a bright gold wash interior. The lid bears an oval cartouche surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath and ribbon details, with a cross-banded ribbon motif beyond the wreath. The edges feature two raised bands — one beaded, one floral. The exterior has a warm patina; the gilt interior remains bright. Lovely as an addition to a display of silver boxes, for use on a dressing table, or to fill with anything you desire.
