French silver plate cocktail shaker with Art Deco design, featuring two decorative bands with engine turned patterns. Known as a cobbler, it includes a metal container, a lid with a strainer, and a cap. Cobblers are ideal for home bars due to their ease of use.

French, C 1930, marked with the letters PA in a square along the head of an Egyptian pharaoh ( la tête d'un pharaon égyptien) for Adrien Pillon, the founder of Ercuis.

Condition Report; Very Good vintage condition, plating is still bright, normal scuffing around edges where cap and strainer set, minor surface scratches and a ding, all in accordance with age and use

The House of Odiot, Founded in 1690

A pair of bottle or wine coasters made by Odiot, the well-known Parisian goldsmith. The silver-plated coasters or trivets are stamped in reverse with Odiot A Paris.

Fine detailed raised edges give way to a center which has a stylized design of flower petals along a script engraved monogram with acanthus flourishes. The monogram may possibly be TE, but as with these beautiful script monograms they intertwine gracefully and leave one guessing.

Founded in 1690, the ODIOT house is one of the most prestigious goldsmith houses in France. It gained significant favor from historical figures such as Napoleon and Napoleon III. Pieces from the ODIOT house are featured in numerous museum collections and grace the tables of the Elysée Palace.

French silver plate, Late 19thC, marked with Odiot’s lamp mark.

Measurements: 6 ¼” in diameter, the wine stands are shown in the last photo holding a magnum of champagne. They will accommodate bottles in varying sizes.

Condition Report: Very good antique condition with lovely patina. Surface marks and scratches in accordance with age and use.

French Wine Cups or Mint Julep Cups

A fine French silver timbale in a classic style embellished with Coquilles or shells around the top of the cup. The interior is vermeil and in excellent condition.

Perfect for wine and Mint Juleps, the silver cups are always an appreciated gift for weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries.

The timbale or beaker, has a good weight totaling132 grams. When comparing prices for the lovely silver cups, please be sure to take the weight of sterling into consideration.

French silver .950 as denoted by the Minerve 1st Titre punch. The maker’s Louis Coignet, 14 rue Barbette, Paris, 1889-1893.

Measurements; 3 1/2 high and 2 3/4” wide at the top, 92 grams in weight.

Condition Report; Very good antique condition, appears to have only been used sparingly, slight scuffing on base, small micro scratches on surface…all in accordance with age and use.

Condition Report: overall very good condition, top rim has a slight bend. A few surface scratches which are hard to photograph due to the brilliant shine on the cooler. Several small spots of tarnish inside the cooler which should polish out.
