About This Piece

A late Victorian English brass inkstand set on a wooden base with a crystal inkwell. The hinged lid of the inkwell is formed as a jockey’s cap, and set behind it is a pen rest in the form of a horseshoe, capable of holding up to four pens. Finely cast with solid weight, this is a collector’s piece for equestrians, horse racing enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates the art of the well-appointed desk.

Condition
