About This Piece

An antique English stationery clip or book marker decorated with a sterling silver picture frame, Birmingham 1913, by Charles Penny Brown (CPB). The metal clip is covered in midnight blue leather and topped with a hallmarked silver photo frame — a fine addition to a desk or library. The photo can be removed from the top of the frame easily to add your own. The clip works equally well for stationery or books.

Hallmarks & Provenance

English sterling silver. Marked with the Lion Passant for sterling, Anchor for Birmingham assay office, date letter "o" for 1913, and maker’s initials CPB (Charles Penny Brown).
