About This Piece

An antique pair of carved beechwood panels featuring a hunting and sporting theme of game birds, worked in bas-relief. Whether displayed in a library, over a fireplace mantel, or above a large kitchen range, the pair will add a distinguished dimension to your home.

The panels had previously been painted or stained; this was removed prior to acquisition. Traces of the original stain remain in the carved details, adding warmth and character to the overall design. Wire hangers are already fitted to the reverse for easy hanging.
