About This Piece
A matching pair of vintage Bavarian porcelain tureens, beautifully shaped in an octagonal form and finished with gilt trim. Each tureen has it original fitted lid with a distinctive gilt and porcelain finial. The decoration combines rich autumnal colors-- deep blue, burnt orange, warm red, and touches of green along with delicate floral and scrolling details. The gilt edging adds a crisp highlight to the pair.
A particularly pretty pair for an autumn table, but versatile to use throughout the year. They are perfect for serving vegetables, side dishes, sauces, or simply dispayed as part of a collection.
