About This Piece
A pair of antique copper molds with a warm, rich patina. Made of heavy, thick-gauge copper and each impressed with a number, the two molds are distinctly different in form — one is round with a flat bottom, the other features a braided top with bullet-shaped points. Both have existing hanging holes for display.
A perfect set for starting that copper mold collection you have been thinking about, or for adding character to an existing collection. Equally beautiful displayed on a kitchen wall as they are used for puddings, jellies, or aspic.
Provenance
English or French, c. 1900. Sourced in France. No maker’s mark; each mold is impressed with a number.
