A fine Victorian English sterling silver picture or photo frame of exceptional size, quality, and condition. The large frame features a fluted border and a central cartouche at the top — an outstanding example of late Victorian silversmithing, registered with the design registry as Rd 341072.

English sterling silver, Chester, 1899. Fully hallmarked with the Lion Passant for .925 silver, Chester assay mark, date letter Q for 1899, and maker’s mark W.N. for William Neal (established 1850). Registered design number Rd 341072.

Condition
