An antique French silver plate escargot server or tong in an uncommon and beautifully detailed vineyard design, c. 1860. The grasping bowls are fashioned in the form of grape leaves with exceptional detail; grapes extend down the base of the server with large grape leaves on both sides of the handle. A distinctive and decorative serving piece.
