About This Piece
A set of six French silver and vermeil coffee spoons with original presentation case, c. 1850. Shell motifs and an oval cartouche decorate each spoon. The wood box has brass stringing with a dark blue satin interior. Delicate and beautiful — ready to grace your table, or to be given as a wedding or anniversary gift in incredibly good condition.
Hallmarks & Provenance
French silver, .800, c. 1850. Marked with the Minerva 2nd Titre mark for .800 silver and maker’s punch PB with a duck (un canard) for Philippe Berthier, master Parisian silversmith active 1841–1851.
