An impressive antique French sterling silver chocolate or coffee cup and saucer, c. 1900, by Ravinet & Denfert (Louis Ravinet & Charles Denfert), Paris. Decorated in the Rococo manner with delicate shells on the top and bottom of the cup handle, flowers adorning the top of the cartouche, and a flowing script monogram. The cup and saucer are quite large — a most impressive set at 7 troy ounces.
