About This Piece
A fine French sterling silver demitasse cup and saucer worked in the guilloché method — intricate, precise, and repetitive patterning throughout. Both cup and saucer feature a monogrammed cartouche decorated with floral work and acanthus leaves; acanthus leaves also adorn the handle. A beautifully detailed and substantial set at 126 grams.
Hallmarks & Provenance
French sterling silver, .950, c. 1900. Marked with the Minerva 1st Titre mark. Maker’s punch currently being researched.
