About This Piece
An antique French sterling silver egg cup and spoon set in a presentation case, beautifully decorated in the Rococo style. Both the interior of the egg cup and the bowl of the spoon have a gilt or vermeil finish. The cup features Rocaille motifs including an unmonogrammed medallion — available for personalisation. A perfectly elegant way to enjoy one’s breakfast egg.

French sterling silver, .950. Both pieces marked with the Minerva 1st Titre mark (used after 1838) and maker’s punch with initials EF (currently being researched).

Condition
Very good. A few micro surface scratches in accordance with age and use. Gilt wash inside the cup and on the spoon is very good. Case has minor fraying to the satin liner (mostly at the bottom) and wear to the edges; latch works well.
