French sterling silver, .950, late 19th century. Marked with the Minerva 1st Titre punch and the maker’s mark for Claude Doutre Roussel, Paris. Roussel’s workshop was located at 118 rue Vieille du Temple in the Marais district; his mark was registered 17 May 1895.
