Hallmarks & Provenance
French sterling silver, .950, made between 1838 and 1846 during the reign of Louis-Philippe, King of France. Marked with the maker’s punch for Pierre Queillé, Paris (active 1834–1846) — a P and Q with a spade in the centre — and the Minerva 1st Titre mark, which came into use in 1838.
