About This Piece
A fine quality English sterling silver rose bowl with flower frog, Sheffield 1928, by Atkin Bros. Classic clean lines with egg and dart motifs around the top of the bowl and the stepped base. Cast and applied lion’s heads with rings on both sides. Displayed on a custom wooden square plinth. A fine centrepiece for a wedding or dining table — engrave for a truly special gift. At 574 grams, a substantial and beautifully made piece.

English sterling silver, .925. Marked with the Lion Passant for sterling, Crown for Sheffield assay office, date letter "l" for 1928, and maker’s mark HA for Atkin Bros, Sheffield. Flower frog not marked for silver.

Condition
Very good. Some surface scratches inside the bowl from the frog being stored inside. One frog clip is missing; the remaining two hold the frog securely in place. Pricing reflects this.
