A French sterling silver hexagonal box, c. 1946, by Maison Eschwege. The top is decorated with a ribbon and a large spray of flowers; each of the six sides features ribbons, swags, and flowers throughout. A lovely small silver box to be used in any fashion you choose — trinkets, pills, or simply as a decorative object.

French sterling silver, .950, 1st Titre. Marked with the Minerva 1st standard mark and maker’s punch for Maison Eschwege (mark registered 1946; firm closed shortly after).
