About This Piece
A matching pair of English sterling silver four-slice toast racks, hallmarked London 1928 and 1929. A nice quality set for serving at the table or on a guest’s breakfast tray — these small sizes were traditionally used for tray service. A perfect wedding or anniversary gift.
Hallmarks & Provenance
English sterling silver, London. Marked with the Lion Passant for .925 silver and the Leopard’s Head for the London assay office. One rack hallmarked 1928, the other 1929. Both bear the same maker’s mark, currently being researched.
