About This Piece
A set of eight square salad or dessert plates by Royal Worcester, heavily encrusted with gilt including raised gilt dots. The speckled green plates feature both an outer and inner gilt rim — the outer rim with an embossed border — and floral work with flowing vines surrounding the edge in raised gilt. The plates are square in form with slightly scalloped corners, a distinctive and elegant shape.
For future use, a clear glass liner is recommended to protect the raised gilt work from utensil wear.
