An antique transfer ware child's plate with raised alphabet around the rim. The brown transfer print features two men in kilts out hunting with their faithful dogs. The plate also has also has three different colors; blue, red, and green in the form of clobbering over the glaze. The kilts are blue and red and the trees feature thick green dabs of paint.
These charming Alphabet plates were once gifts and teaching tools for children. Today the are highly collectable and still ready to teach.

Condition; very good, creamy colored plate has some crazing consistent with age. No chips or cracks.
