About This Piece
An antique French silver chatelaine pendant, oval in form. The beautiful hinged locket features an oval cartouche (unmonogrammed), vine and floral motifs, and raised beadwork on the sides. The interior is gold-washed and comes with a small powder puff; the mirror inside is in very good condition. Simply beautiful worn on a necklace or displayed on a dressing table. To give or to keep.
Hallmarks & Provenance
French, c. 1900. Marked with the Boar’s Head for .800 silver. Maker’s punch currently being researched.
