About This Piece
An antique French silver and gilt tapered liquor flask with two fluted sides, 19th century. The flask features enamel decoration of raised gold and green swags of leaves and gold ribbon — the gold details remain thick and vivid. The silver lid is a twist-and-pull with the original cork still intact; the removable bottom serves as a cup. A striking green and gold enamel combination that works beautifully with the silver gilt. Maker’s mark currently being researched.
