An antique Mappin & Webb silver egg coddler and server for four, Edwardian era. The egg-shaped coddler rests on an attached frame with ball-shaped feet, accompanied by four egg cups with attached plates. Crisp and clean in design with no ornamentation or engraving — a perfect centrepiece for the breakfast table or brunch buffet.
Made in Mappin & Webb’s celebrated Princes Plate line, known for its higher quality triple silver plating, first advertised around 1890. The plating remains in exceptionally good condition with a brilliant shine.

Condition
Very good. Plating is brilliant and exceptionally well preserved. A few tiny dings; two egg cups are slightly out of round; micro surface scratches all in accordance with age and use. One cup holder has a slight bend to one side, noticeable only when all cups are removed and viewed from above.
