About This Piece
A very unusual antique American sterling silver pocket watch stand or holder with repousse work featuring flowers and acanthus motifs, monogrammed with the letter "G". The easel stand functions well. A rare and decorative piece equally at home on a desk or dressing table.
Hallmarks & Provenance
American sterling silver. Marked for Baltimore Sterling Silver Co. (BSS & Co.), active 1892–1904. After 1904 the company became Stieff, renowned for fine Baltimore-style flatware and holloware.
