A paired French silver plate cocktail shaker and ice bucket with matching ribbed design, assembled on a recent buying trip to Paris. The set comprises a tall cocktail shaker with built-in strainer and a handsome ice bucket with swing handle, both in a coordinating ribbed design.
Hallmarks & Provenance
French silver plate, c. 1940. The ice bucket is marked with the number 12; the shaker is marked "Métal Argenté" with maker’s mark GD and an unidentified animal mark — currently unattributed.

Condition
Very good. Normal surface marks on the bottoms of both pieces; a few surface scratches on the bright plating. One small dent in the ice bucket (visible in photos). Please note: the lines visible on the ice bucket in one photo are reflections from the light tent, not damage. All in accordance with age and use.
