Pair Gilt Bronze Candlesticks, French Empire Style, Bronze Dore
A pair of French gilt bronze candlesticks with tapered reeded columns. The candleholders set on round bases with lyre and griffin motifs. Further decoration on the bases includes geometric motifs in keeping with the Empire style. The vase shaped capitals are decorated with stylized palmettes.

Measurements; 11 ½ high with the base measuring 5 ½”
Condition Report; A few dark spots, some loss of gilt, the candlesticks have not been professionally cleaned. A small dent to one base. One capital has a slight to the side.
