About This Piece

A pair of beautifully crafted shell-inspired sterling silver dishes by Buccellati — a Tridacna (large clam) dish and a Venus dish. Estate finds in very good condition. Keep summer alive all year with these exquisite nature-inspired pieces from one of Italy’s most celebrated silver houses.

Mario Buccellati opened his first store in Milan in 1919, drawing inspiration from nature and Renaissance motifs. His son Gianmaria Buccellati took the lead of all US stores in 1970 and later expanded to Hong Kong, France, and Monte Carlo.
