About This Piece
A handsome French vintage desk accessory by Longchamp, Paris, designed in the shape of an equestrian stirrup.
The piece combines a polished brass stirrup shaped frame with a rich black leather holder for letters, correspondence and stationary. The substantial brass frame extends into a study base where a boot would rest. The tailored leather side pieces are finished with tonal stitching.
The equestrian-inspired form makes this an especially fine addition to a traditional desk, libray or writing table, and a natural choice for anyone with an appreciation for horses and the equestrian lifestyle.
