About This Piece
An antique French sterling silver napkin ring with a centre oval cartouche with beaded detail, worked in the guilloché manner around the entire piece. Delicate and refined, with a fine script monogram reading "HC" or "CH". A lovely example of French Belle Époque silversmithing.
Hallmarks & Provenance
French sterling silver, .950, c. 1900. Marked with the Minerva 1st Titre mark. Maker’s punch worn (likely from polishing) and currently being researched.

Condition
Very good. Normal wear in accordance with age and use. Very slightly out of round due to a small crease, not easily seen owing to the guilloché design.
