A fine antique French sterling silver napkin ring worked in the Rococo or Louis XV style. A monogrammed cartouche decorates the front with Rococo styling and foliage, while a distinctive swirl pattern encircles the rest of the ring. A beautifully detailed and characterful piece.

French sterling silver, .950, 1st Titre. Marked with the Minerva 1st Titre mark and maker’s punch — an anchor (une ancre) for Armand Frésnais (active from 1877), 77 Boulevard Richard-Lenoir, Paris.
