A figural French silver direct-pull wine bottle opener or corkscrew, designed to replicate corkscrews made from natural boar’s tusk material. Acquired in France, the piece has a warm patina acquired over time. A perfect addition to a collection of corkscrews or barware, and a thoughtful gift for the wine lover.
Hallmarks & Provenance
French, late 19th century. Acquired in France. Possibly marked with the Boar’s Head punch for .800 silver; the small mark has been difficult to photograph clearly and is listed conservatively as silver plate.

Condition
Very good. The corkscrew polished up nicely. A few marks and small dings, all in accordance with age and use.
