About This Piece
An exceptional French sterling silver and vermeil (gold wash) tea service by Henri Soufflet, Paris, c. 1895. The set comprises twelve tea spoons, a tea strainer, and sugar tongs — all monogrammed with the script initials "BC." The set displays beautifully in its original presentation box, which is also monogrammed on the top with the same initials. Each piece features shell motifs with interlacing leaves and the lovely script monogram. An exceptional set for a collection or as a wedding or anniversary gift.

Condition
Very good. Gilt in very good condition. Normal surface scratches and marks in accordance with age and use. Some wear to the presentation box.
