About This Piece
An antique polychrome putto or cherub face plaque, facing left, worked in soft shades of cream and burnt umber with a gilt wash. Made of plaster with a small flat ring on the reverse for hanging. A matching right-facing cherub plaque is also available in the shop — this listing is for the left-facing putto only. The muted, warm palette integrates beautifully with most interior schemes.

Condition
Very good. Small flat chip on the bottom of one wing. A stable surface crack below the face. All in accordance with age and use.
