About This Piece
An impressive antique French bronze doré and crystal pin cushion with vitrine or box, c. 1888. Round in form, the gilt-painted scenes on all sides feature shields with arrows and musical instruments surrounded by floral work. The top is covered in deep green velvet — perfect for use as a pin cushion or for displaying favourite pins and brooches. The fine quality crystal base features cut work on the bottom that plays beautifully with the light. Professionally cleaned.
