A fine French sterling silver napkin ring by Odiot, the celebrated Parisian goldsmith. Raised bands and alternating rows of seashells decorate the exterior, with a warm gilt interior. An impressive piece for a distinguished dining table or a memorable gift.
Hallmarks & Provenance
French sterling silver, .950, bearing the Minerva 1st Titre punch and Odiot's lamp mark. c. 1900. Founded in 1690, the House of Odiot is one of the most prestigious goldsmith houses in France, counting Napoleon and Napoleon III among its patrons. Odiot pieces are featured in numerous museum collections and grace the tables of the Élysée Palace.
