About This Piece
An antique Gorham sterling silver double inkwell or inkstand, beautifully made with pierced work decoration and resting on four raised feet. The stand features two glass ink pots, a double stamp box, and a pen rest — a complete and elegant writing desk accessory.
The glass inkwells are in very good condition without chips or cracks, with normal surface wear on the bottoms. Please note that one inkwell lid does not close completely — it could possibly be adjusted, and the price reflects this.

American sterling silver, marked for Gorham, c. 1875. Marked with the Lion (facing right), Anchor, and G mark, in use from 1853.

Condition
Good antique condition. Normal surface marks in accordance with age and use. One inkwell lid does not fit tightly — this is reflected in the pricing.
