English Old Sheffield Plate-Bring Heritage & History to the Table
The urn shaped coolers have a stepped circular base, gadroon top edges, decorative handles along with two bands of applied floral and vine details. The coolers are in very good condition with normal wear to the copper mainly on the base. The silver is bright.
If you look closely at the pictures of the crest you will see a faint rectangular outline. This is where a sterling silver ingot has been placed to prevent the engraved coat of arms or initials from going thru into the copper core.

This does not interfere with the use of look of the cooler.
